Responsibilities:
  • Develop and design visual elements, such as logos, graphics, and typography, to communicate messages and ideas.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
  • Estimate time and resources required for design projects.
  • Coordinate production of print, audio-visual, and electronic materials.
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look and feel of communications materials.
  • Determine the most suitable medium and vehicle for communication.
  • Develop graphic elements that meet clients' objectives.
  • Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
  • Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in graphic design.
  • Proficiency in Corel Draw, AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to sit for long periods.
  • Ability to handle a large workload.
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, and team player.
