About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Java Scala Developer to join our team in Montreal, QC. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable software solutions using Java and Scala.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using Java and Scala.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Java/Scala development.
  • Strong knowledge of Spring and Springboot.
  • Experience with Restful APIs and database concepts.
  • Proficiency in Git and Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Spark SQL and Python.
  • Knowledge of finance domain.
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
