We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Jas Truck & Trailer Repair Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be able to adapt to changing priorities.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The successful candidate will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
