Purchasing Agent Job Description

SUGRIM IMPORT & EXPORT INC is seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase equipment, materials, and services from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Consult with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms.
  • Review quotations and establish delivery schedules.
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable supply chain.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
