Mountain Safety Patrol - Ski Operations

Ensuring the safety of our guests is paramount. You will take pride in delivering an exceptional vacation and recreational experience. Each day presents unique challenges, whether you are indoors or outdoors. Collaborating closely with our Professional Patrol Team, you will engage in comprehensive training programs while maintaining safe slopes and ski paths.

Responsibilities include:

· Overseeing all elements of the slopes and trail boundaries, including signage, tower pads, hazard markings, and other duties related to the daily opening and closing of trails.

· Acting as a liaison during emergencies, effectively communicating with essential contacts until the situation is resolved.

· Installing and removing signs, fences, bamboo, and other trail and hazard indicators.

· Conducting pre-opening inspections of all slopes and trails prior to public access.

· Performing closing inspections of all slopes and trails after public hours.

· Participating in the training of various Ski Patrol functions.

· Assisting with emergency lift evacuations.

· Monitoring and reporting on trail and weather conditions, advising on run closures and necessary signage.

Qualifications:

· Possess current certification in medical first aid.

· Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

· Maintain physical fitness and readiness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.

· Demonstrate advanced skiing skills and comfort navigating all types of terrain.

· Previous experience in ski operations is an advantage.

· Knowledge of safe rope handling is beneficial.

· Familiarity with lift evacuation procedures is a plus.
