About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Styles and Tangles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional haircut and grooming services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Style Hair: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Provide Customized Services: Offer custom hair and scalp treatments, including shampoos and conditioners, to enhance the overall grooming experience.
  • Shave and Trim: Shave and trim beards and mustaches to perfection, ensuring a clean and polished look.
  • Supervise and Train: Supervise apprentices or students in training, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
  • Client Consultation: Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences, taking into account their lifestyle and personal style.
Work Environment

As a Barber at Styles and Tangles, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, surrounded by a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, but you will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Abilities: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, judgement, reliability, and a team player attitude.
