Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and determine the materials needed for fabrication tasks.
  • Interpret and implement engineering drawings and instructions to devise effective methods and sequences of operation.
  • Plan and execute the cutting of metal in the most efficient manner.
  • Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to construct various structures.
  • Utilize welding or bolting techniques to join sections together.
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machinery.
  • Create patterns and templates for fabrication processes.
  • Install fabricated components into the final product.
  • Manage the rigging, hoisting, and movement of materials within the worksite.
