About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Living Legends Construction Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Site Environment: The successful candidate will work outdoors in a dusty environment.
  • Work Setting: The role will involve working at various locations.
  • Tasks: The Construction Labourer and Helper will be responsible for:
    • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
    • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
    • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
    • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
    • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants.
    • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.
    • Directing traffic at or near construction sites.
    • Performing other labouring and elemental activities.
    • Assisting skilled tradespersons.
  • Work Term and Language: The successful candidate will work on a permanent basis and will be required to communicate in English.
  • Hours of Work: The role will involve working 40 hours per week.
