About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Package Handler to join our team at Packaging Depot. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mailroom and shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Accurate Address Databases: Update names and locations to ensure efficient mail delivery.
  • Process Mail and Packages: Print, photocopy, and label materials as needed.
  • Operate Equipment: Maintain and operate print shop and mailing house equipment to support mail processing.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Record and balance daily transactions, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of mail processing.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in a mailroom or shipping and receiving environment is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
