About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Pharos Medical Group. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products, ensuring that our pharmacy is always stocked and ready to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Set up, dismantle, and maintain equipment, including sterilization equipment and instrumentation, to ensure that it is functioning properly and safely.
  • Patient Support: Position patients for treatments, apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages, and assist chiropractors with physical examinations.
  • Supply Management: Maintain supplies of medications, prescription records, and other essential items, ensuring that our pharmacy is always well-stocked and ready to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Quality Control: Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation according to standardized safety practices, ensuring that our pharmacy meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Team Support: Assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food, and assist with labeling and processing donated blood.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
