Custodial Services Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodial Services Specialist to join our team at the Near North District School Board. As a Custodial Services Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Conduct basic building maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and filters
  • Assist with grounds maintenance, including grass cutting and snow shoveling
  • Ensure the proper disposal of waste and recyclables
  • Restock and maintain custodial supplies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements:
  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in custodial services or building maintenance is an asset
Working Conditions:

Shifts vary between 6:30 AM and 11:30 PM, with hours on a call-out basis. Rate of pay is $19.06/hour, inclusive of vacation pay and statutory holiday pay.
