Job Title: Firmware Engineer

At Animo Tech, we are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our team. As a Firmware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of our cutting-edge products.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to design, build, and test new products from ideation to mass production.
  • Support team members in designing fixtures for testing and quality control purposes.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify sustainable ways to resolve issues on hand.
Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Proficient in C and C++ programming.
  • Understanding of Python language.
  • Understanding of PCBs and assemblies.
  • Understanding of electrical components such as MOSFETs, MCUs, Op-Amps etc.
  • Experience in debugging/testing with lab test equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power analyzer, signal generator etc.
  • Hands on soldering skills (surface mount and through hole components) preferred.
Your Background:
  • Willingness and ability to learn and apply new skills quickly.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a rapidly changing problem.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Prior knowledge of vaping products is an asset.
  • Ability to read and write Mandarin is an asset.
