We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at Bellevie Cafe / Bakery and Eatery. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
- Bake and decorate cakes, pastries, and other sweet goods to meet customer demand.
- Train and supervise bakery staff to ensure high-quality products and efficient operations.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and other machinery.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment and ingredients.
