About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team at Colas Western Canada Inc. in Revelstoke, BC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the asphalt plant to ensure safe and efficient production of high-quality asphalt products.
  • Monitor and control the blending systems to achieve precise mix designs and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment and electrical components to minimize downtime and ensure worker safety.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to coordinate production, quality control, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures.
Requirements
  • Class 5 Driver's License required.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Training in Confined Space Entry/Monitor, Aerial Lift, and Fall Arrest preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in asphalt equipment operation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Experience in a road construction company is an asset.
