About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Footwear Salesperson to join our team at Mahone Bay Trading Company Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing advice on merchandise and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of knowledge about our footwear products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting products, handling customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure a well-stocked sales floor.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train, or equivalent experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

Our store is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of customers and products. As a Footwear Salesperson, you will be required to stand for long periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and move quickly around the sales floor.
