Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Buono Mangia. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, maintaining inventory and records, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to customers.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a scent-free environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
