Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as a pivotal contributor, reporting to the Customer Success Manager. You will engage with intricate challenges where thorough analysis of situations or data is essential. Collaborating closely with the Customer Success Manager, you will interact with clients post-sale to understand their outcomes and design a successful architectural framework. You will provide essential post-sales technical guidance to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled and that the product operates as intended.
Position Overview
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for delivering architectural design, developing use cases, mapping features, and offering consulting and implementation guidance for our clients. You will work in conjunction with our Professional Services and Product/Engineering teams. Your role will also involve responding to inquiries from potential clients, engaging with both technical and business stakeholders, and staying informed about industry trends and developments within Informatica and other enterprise solutions.
Technologies You Will Utilize:
- Informatica Intelligent Cloud Data Management iPaaS: Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, Cloud Data Governance & Quality, Cloud Data Marketplace, Cloud Data Access Management, Master Data Management.
- Informatica On-Premises Software Products: Enterprise Data Catalog, Axon, IDQ, Data Privacy Management, PowerCenter, Data Engineering Integration, with hands-on scripting experience in Python, Core Java, Unix, and Windows.
Your Daily Activities
- Deliver architectural design and provide use case development and implementation guidance.
- Collaborate with our Professional Services team to ensure seamless transitions for broader service engagements.
- Work alongside Product/Engineering Teams to identify optimal design recommendations and provide comprehensive feedback to align our products with customer needs.
- Act as a consultant and advisor to clients, as well as a technical mentor to colleagues, throughout the post-sales implementation and expansion phases.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries with detailed technical explanations of product features and capabilities.
- Serve as a technical mentor to your peers within the customer success team.
- Prepare and deliver innovative solution presentations or technical proposals.
- Create and publish external-facing whitepapers, artifacts, case studies, architectural blueprints, blog posts, and articles for technical and industry publications.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Technology.
- A minimum of 7 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years working with one or more Informatica products in the Data Governance & Privacy domain.
- Familiarity with major Cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience managing enterprise products from SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle, IBM, and Tableau as sources or targets for Informatica Integration.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in implementing Informatica Data Governance solutions, including Informatica Cloud Services and Enterprise Data Catalog.
- Technical knowledge of deploying both Cloud and on-premise software solutions and architectures.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud Ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing customer relationships and addressing complex data management needs.
- Advanced database skills in at least one major database system.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role as a Developer or Architect, demonstrating a commitment to customer care and diligence.
- Ability to track and communicate all customer interactions to ensure closure and customer satisfaction.
