Head Cashier Job Description

Full-Time Opportunity

Number of hours per week: between 40 and 40

Shift: Day, Evening

Availability: Anytime

As a Head Cashier at IGA, you will be responsible for:

  1. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience
  2. Managing the cash handling process and maintaining accurate records
  3. Supervising and supporting a team of cashiers to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  4. Basic math skills and attention to detail
