Position Overview

The role of a Kitchen Helper is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient culinary environment. This position involves various tasks that contribute to the overall functionality of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation: Thoroughly clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
  • Cleaning Supplies Management: Properly handle and store cleaning agents to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Efficiently remove kitchen waste and garbage.
  • Knife Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are in optimal condition for food preparation.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required for meal preparation.
Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week.
