**Job Summary:**

CSN Ladner Auto Body in Delta, BC is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to repairing damaged vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Review damage reports and estimate repair costs to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery
  • Conduct thorough examinations of collision damage and perform necessary repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition
  • Perform structural and complete body repairs, including straightening bent frames, welding using MIG welders, and replacing damaged parts
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces to achieve a smooth finish
  • Prepare auto body surfaces for painting and apply primers to ensure a high-quality finish
  • Restore vehicles to factory specifications, meeting or exceeding industry standards
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to ensure they meet quality and safety standards

**Requirements:**

  • At least 3 years of experience in auto body repair is required
  • Full Journeyman ticket in Auto Body Collision and Damage Repair is mandatory
  • ICAR and OEM certifications are highly preferred
  • Must have ICAR Welding certification and a Vocational Certificate in Collision Repair
  • A valid driver's license and ownership of necessary tools are required

**Working Conditions:**

  • Exposure to fumes, dirt, chemicals, hazards, heat, cold, and noise is expected

  • 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (7:30 am - 4 pm)
