About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Worker to join our team at Home Instead Senior Care - Toronto Central. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to seniors in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical well-being, such as exercise and social interaction.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, such as healthcare or social services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
