Aptech Precision Machining Inc is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for repairing machine tools and parts, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance.

  • Repair machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand specifications and tolerances
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring accuracy and precision
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, verifying dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
