Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Esso gas station. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our sales floor, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Floor Staff to Duties

Assign sales floor staff to various duties, including customer service, sales, and inventory management, to ensure that our store is fully staffed and operating at peak efficiency.

Authorize Payments and Manage Inventory

Authorize payments by cheque and manage inventory levels to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.

Order Merchandise and Manage Returns

Order merchandise and manage returns to ensure that our store is stocked with the latest products and that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.

Establish Work Schedules and Supervise Staff

Establish work schedules and supervise staff to ensure that our store is operating efficiently and effectively.

Prepare Reports and Analyze Sales Data

Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Resolve Customer Issues and Manage Inventory

Resolve customer issues, including complaints and supply shortages, and manage inventory levels to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.

Organize and Maintain Inventory

Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.

Supervise and Coordinate Activities

Supervise and coordinate activities of sales floor staff to ensure that our store is operating efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

1-2 Years of Experience

Have 1-2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.

Language and Work Hours
  • English Language

Be fluent in English language.

35-40 Hours per Week

Work 35-40 hours per week.
