About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Lead to join our team at Ram Plastics Inc. as a key member of our mechanical engineering department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Development: Conduct in-depth research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
  • Design and Development: Design and develop power plants, machines, and equipment that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to prevent mechanical failures.
  • Project Management: Plan, manage, and oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of technicians, technologists, and engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the success of the team.
  • Business Development: Identify business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth and expansion, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure the safety and well-being of employees and customers.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management.
  • Language: English language proficiency is required.
  • Work Hours: 70 hours bi-weekly.
