About the Role

Afab Enterprises is seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team. As a Construction Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Assisting in Construction: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, as well as demolishing buildings.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Metalworking: Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
  • Welding: Assist with welding tasks.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring the quality of work.
  • Equipment and Tools: Steel-toed safety boots are required.
