Intact Financial Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic leader with exceptional network and security engineering skills to join our team.

As the Network Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's critical infrastructure and data. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust network security controls, collaborating with various teams, and driving the vision for network security within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers specializing in network and cloud security.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive network security strategies aligned with industry best practices and Zero Trust Architecture principles.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of perimeter protection solutions, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the cybersecurity landscape and proactively implement mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of security controls across all environments.
  • Provide regular performance and security reporting to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology/software engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in network security roles, with a strong understanding of advanced networking concepts.
  • Experience implementing and managing cloud networking solutions for major providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and SIEM systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security risks.
  • Certifications such as CCNP Security or CISSP are highly desirable.
