Job Title: Personal Support Aide

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Aide to join our team at JOHN (NGOK KUAM )LEE POA MARGARET LEE. As a Personal Support Aide, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with medication management and administration
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring clients receive a balanced diet
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Personal Support Aide, you will work in a non-smoking environment. You will be required to travel to clients' homes, and public transportation is available.

Physical Demands:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Handling heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
