Job Summary

SHIPCART DISTRIBUTION SERVICES is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport and deliver packages and messages to customers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to pick up and deliver items and products.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer professional and courteous service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Manage Inventory: Keep accurate records of items received and delivered, ensuring that inventory is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Prepare and Restock Goods: Prepare, package, and restock goods for delivery, ensuring that they are properly labeled and secured.
  • Transport Hazardous Materials: Safely transport and handle hazardous materials, following all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring that they are properly secured and handled.
  • Sort and Deliver Packages: Sort packages for delivery, ensuring that they are properly labeled and delivered to the correct location.
  • Follow Directions and Use Maps: Follow directions and use maps to navigate to delivery locations, ensuring that you arrive on time and efficiently.
  • Record Trip Information: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
