About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Construction Equipment Operator to join our team at Ruby Rock Asphalts Works Ltd. as a key member of our asphalt paving crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as graders, asphalt spreaders, pavers, and rollers to ensure efficient and high-quality asphalt paving operations.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Secure special attachments to equipment as required.
  • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure accurate and efficient paving operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various work sites.
