About the Role

P.H.H. Construction Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to ensure that workers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Business Operations: Manage the business aspects of the construction project, including requisitioning materials and supplies.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that projects are completed on time.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure that construction projects are built according to plan.
  • Material Requisition: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
