Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Service Truck Mechanic to join our team at Laprairie. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our mobile and off-road fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, service, and maintain a diverse range of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, including trucks, trailers, and construction machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using computerized testing equipment and technical expertise.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and servicing vehicles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless operations and high-quality results.
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports to support our quality assurance system.
Requirements
  • Licensed Journeyman or Red Seal certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
  • At least 3 years of experience in heavy-duty mechanics, with a strong background in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license, with a clean driving record and preference for Class 3.
  • CVIP license and proven experience with diesel or heavy equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
