Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Strategist to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs department, you will be responsible for delivering global equity products client-level reporting, analytics, and contract support to senior executives and front-line professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement reporting for global equity products, utilizing technical skills to efficiently extract and manipulate data from client databases or other source systems.
  • Understand the business rationale of all requests being made and manage client expectations, meeting agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Participate in and contribute to project and team meetings, interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments as necessary.
  • Learn and implement advanced analytics to help resolve priority business problems and provide insight and analysis in support of LOB performance and strategic objectives.
  • Leverage existing reports and business metrics reported where possible to minimize unnecessary work and assess current practice of generating reports, introducing process efficiencies and automation in database and reporting.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, with 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, Tier1, and Power BI.
  • Understanding of Capital Markets products and knowledge of BMO Capital Markets' financial systems.
  • Knowledge of data science and financial accounting concepts.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, presentation, interpersonal, and organization/time management skills.

Compensation

$90,000 - $120,000 CAD. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
