We are seeking a skilled and experienced painter to join our team at G-Class Construction Corp. As a painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces.
- Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials needed for each project.
- Client Interaction: Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the painting industry.
- Skills: Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, ability to distinguish between colors, and physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
As a painter at G-Class Construction Corp., you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
