English Tutor

We are seeking a part-time English tutor with a specialization in Writing skills to join our team at Oxford Learning Richmond Hill - Oak Ridges.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with students, have strong English written and oral communication skills, and are passionate about helping students build their writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels
- Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
- Filling in post-lesson notes
- Completing daily student communication updates
- Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
- University students will be considered
- Teaching certification an asset
- Good knowledge of the current curriculum
- Some experience teaching/tutoring is preferred
- Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding
- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
- Fun staff events

This is a part-time position with a salary of $17 - $19 / hour. The schedule includes evenings, Monday to Thursday, and Saturday availability.
