The Food Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of our culinary team at GUAC MEXI GRILL. This position requires a strong leader who can ensure high standards of food quality and customer service.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
- Equivalent Experience: Consideration will be given to candidates with relevant experience
- Conditions: Noisy and hot environment
- Setting: On-site customer service with a willingness to relocate
- Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
- Train staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Recruit food service personnel
- Ensure food quality and service meet established standards
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Prepare and submit detailed reports
- Establish and manage work schedules
Responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
Certifications- Safe Food Handling certificate is required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed
- Physically demanding tasks requiring attention to detail
