Commissioning and Performance Testing Specialist for Rotating Machines

Job Summary

Kinectrics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotating Machines Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service line, you will be responsible for executing generator commissioning projects, providing technical support, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with existing and new clients to bring in orders that meet or exceed targets.
  • Develop and implement brand strategy for the service line, working closely with the Service Line Leader and sales team.
  • Lead and execute work in the field with assigned staff and team members, achieving effective utilization of resources.
  • Assist in the negotiation and administration of contracts, including estimates of costs, schedule, and resources required.
  • Ensure that the business strategy is well developed and based on good market and competitor knowledge.

Requirements

  • Recognized technical expert in electrical engineering, especially as it relates to generator commissioning and performance testing services.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in generator commissioning and performance testing.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in business development.
