POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Customer Engagement Specialists are integral in providing outstanding service and promoting merchandise to our supporters at various retail locations. This is a part-time, hourly, event-driven role.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Delivering top-notch customer service and fostering a friendly atmosphere
  • Interacting with customers through thoughtful inquiries and showcasing products
  • Supporting indirect service efforts such as product display, restocking, layout planning, signage, and organization
  • Accurately managing cash transactions and efficiently processing sales through the point-of-sale system
  • Performing daily opening and closing tasks, including cash reconciliation and end-of-day reporting
  • Undertaking additional responsibilities as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • A strong commitment to teamwork and contributing to a positive work environment
  • Enthusiastic and self-driven with a desire to expand knowledge in the retail sector
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A natural talent for engaging with individuals confidently and professionally
