Position Overview

The Accounting Technician will play a crucial role in executing a variety of responsibilities, which include:

  • Preparation of corporate year-end financial statements, tax returns, and other essential reports
  • Preparation of individual tax returns
  • Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Managing GST returns and fulfilling other regulatory filing obligations
  • Client correspondence and communication

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting
  • Familiarity with CaseWare and tax preparation software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Sage Accounting Software is considered an asset
