Restaurant General Manager Job Description

Ric's Lounge & Grill (Edmonton Airport) LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
  • Lead and manage a team of 5-15 employees, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Manage restaurant operations, including inventory control, supply chain management, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement menus, ensuring high-quality food products and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize revenue and reduce costs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion among employees and customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive business improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and other relevant software applications.
