About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Friendly Mini Mart & Laundromart. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, discuss merchandise, and provide advice on products and services.
  • Sales Transactions: Operate cash registers, process sales, and handle customer payments.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain sales records, track inventory, and re-order merchandise as needed.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and organize store displays, restock shelves, and maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Support Services: Offer mentorship and coaching opportunities to customers, including those with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
