We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Zoning the department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate shopping experience for customers.
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness and quality.
- Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Adhering to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning procedures, to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
- Ensuring the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business to meet customer demand.
- Following Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Stocking merchandise, picking, and downstocking as needed, while applying product protection when required.
- Minimum rate of pay: $17.55 per hour.
- Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.

- Previous retail or customer service experience.
