- Oversee complex analytical projects and pinpoint opportunities to optimize our existing product offerings through self-initiated insights.
- Communicate findings to executive leaders and business partners to foster strategic improvements and influence decisions across all organizational tiers.
- Establish robust relationships with product partners and other key internal and external stakeholders (Enterprise Analytics, Data Governance & Reporting, Marketing, Customer Strategy, etc.).
- Encourage analytical innovation within products and guide the team through tactical analytic strategies, leveraging best practices in data engineering, statistical modeling, and insight generation.
- Enhance understanding of cloud infrastructure and advanced analytics capabilities within Personal Banking.

- Proficient in employing predictive analytics, customer segmentation, and sensitivity analysis to formulate detailed business cases and articulate the business value of projects.
- Adept at simplifying complex problems and solutions into a coherent narrative for executive audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to learn and apply new analytical techniques while adapting to changes in the financial services sector.
- Familiarity with products and strategies to critically assess business cases and analyses.
- Capable of collaborating across teams, leading partners, and aligning leadership, demonstrating strong teamwork and the ability to build deep relationships with diverse business partners.
- Outstanding organizational skills, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Solid understanding of experimental design principles (Test and Learn).
- Aspirations to deepen industry knowledge, including current trends and challenges in big data on a global scale.
- 5-6 years of relevant experience in analytics, data science, and/or consulting, preferably in an advisory role.
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as Python, PySpark, Jupyter Notebooks, data mining tools like SQL, and Microsoft Applications (SSMS, Azure cloud, Office suite) and Bitbucket is advantageous.
- Experience with Hadoop (Hive, Pig, Impala) or other distributed file systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge in areas such as:
- Statistical modeling (OLS regressions, hypothesis testing, logistic regression, etc.).
- Ensemble models (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting trees, Bayesian Inference, etc.).
- Data visualization and storytelling using Tableau.
- Advanced university degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or another analytically focused discipline, preferably at the bachelor's level or higher, or equivalent work experience.
