Key Responsibilities- Assess food portion sizes and associated costs
- Design menus and calculate food requirements for preparation
- Order and manage kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions
- Prepare special meals as directed by the dietitian or head chef
- Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety practices
- Oversee inventory and record-keeping for food and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
- Organize and manage buffet and banquet services
- Supervise kitchen staff and assistants
- Manage overall kitchen operations
