About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tire Technician to join our team at Kal Tire's West Edmonton Fleet Center. As a Tire Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers by providing exceptional tire services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tire removal, installation, and repair for passenger and light truck vehicles, adhering to Kal Tire's Mechanical Fundamentals training and journeyman technician sign-off.
  • Assist with mechanical inspections and services, including alignment, flush machines, and oil lube and filter service.
  • Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by following all safety and environmental policies and rules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and exceed every client's expectations.
  • Ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout your shift.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to excel in a physical environment and easily lift 50 lbs.
  • Automotive or tire experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Motivated and positive attitude, with a respectful work environment and ability to work with team members in a positive atmosphere.
  • Being safety conscious is of utmost importance - always wear required PPE and follow instructed work protocols.
  • Clean and organize the shop area to develop a safe work environment.
