This position is based in a rural setting, providing a unique opportunity to work in a close-knit community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other items to dining areas and arrange tables
- Manage linen by carrying and replacing as necessary
- Sanitize and clean equipment such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
- Clear and maintain cleanliness of tables, trays, and chairs
- Load and unload buspans and trays efficiently
- Operate dishwashing machines to ensure cleanliness of dishes, glassware, and utensils
- Organize and store dishes in designated areas
- Restock condiments and supplies at tables and serving stations
- Hand wash and sanitize dishes and other kitchen items
- Scrub pots and pans to maintain cleanliness
- Keep track of food quantities used
- Package take-out orders accurately
- Portion and wrap food items as needed
- Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items
- Take customer orders when required
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
