Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Briesam Corporation. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Costing: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects, taking into account factors such as materials, labour, and equipment costs.
  • Pre-qualification Submissions: Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present to clients, highlighting our company's capabilities and experience.
  • Project Management: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, and project cash flow and financing requirements.
  • Reporting and Communication: Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms, and liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in estimating or a related field.
