Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at TB Food Services Inc DBA Tim Hortons. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Establish and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Staff Development
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Conduct regular quality checks to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
    • Manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that our financial resources are utilized effectively.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to ensure that our high standards are met.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Hours
    • 35 hours per week.
