In this role, you will find purpose by:

  • Creating innovative mental health program content tailored to diverse client needs
  • Implementing modern approaches to mental health service delivery, including digital therapeutics
  • Utilizing your assessment skills for various applications, from pre-employment evaluations to diagnostic assessments
  • Providing individual and group therapy for issues such as anxiety, trauma, and depression within the context of the individual's life
  • Collaborating with other mental health professionals and interdisciplinary teams
  • Participating in training sessions and case discussions
  • Contributing to the evaluation of program outcomes at both provincial and national levels

Required Education and Licensure

  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current registration in good standing with the provincial College/Board of Psychologists (competency with adult populations; clinical experience in counseling, health psychology, or neuropsychology is an asset)
  • Individual professional liability insurance is required upon employment

Relevant Experience

  • Conducting psychological assessments for adults with various objectives, including treatment planning
  • Delivering evidence-based therapies grounded in cognitive-behavioral techniques
  • Experience in developing and assessing mental health programs is advantageous
  • Familiarity with interdisciplinary teamwork and third-party payers is beneficial
  • Experience with telehealth and virtual care methods is a plus
