About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Floor Finisher to join our team at Zone Garage Calgary Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete floors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Preparation: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Surface Treatment: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, protecting them from damage and wear.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Measurement and Marking: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and efficient installation.
Work Environment

As a Concrete Floor Finisher at Zone Garage Calgary Inc., you will work in a fast-paced commercial environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Commercial, residential, and various locations.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and manual dexterity.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, team player, dependable, reliable, organized, and able to work under pressure.
