Cooksville Dodge Chrysler Jeep is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure our customers' vehicles are running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to prevent vehicle breakdowns and extend the life of our customers' vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and fix problems quickly and efficiently.
- Qualify vehicles for warranty coverage and perform warranty repairs, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service and support.
- Examine vehicles to identify potential safety or service issues, and perform repairs or maintenance as needed to prevent accidents and ensure our customers' vehicles are safe to drive.
- Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently, and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Other duties as assigned by the service manager, including participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
- Valid Automotive Service Technician Certification (310S) or equivalent experience.
- Experience or training with the Chrysler brand, with a strong understanding of our products and systems.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean Driver's Abstract.
- Strong aptitude for technical and mechanical repairs, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work well with a team, with a positive and professional attitude.
- A desire to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
